Annual Oatmeal Festival

Held Labor Day weekend, and Sponsored by Three Minute Brand Oats.

The year 2015 makes 38 years for the Oatmeal Festival. It started in 1977, with a goal in mind to keep the neighboring small community of Oatmeal on the map, due to map-makers ignoring the tiny town.

The weekend event starts in the Community of Oatmeal with a B-B-Q dinner and the Miss Oatmeal Pageant. A trail ride moves the festival to Bertram on Saturday morning, which includes a parade in downtown Bertram. This year the Oatmeal Festival will be held in the streets of downtown Bertram.

The Festival offers fun for everyone, arts and craft booths, games for young and old. It also features a baking contest the only trick, your recipe must include oatmeal.
