Garbage Collection



Trash Pick-up



The City of Bertram contracts with Clawson Disposal for once per week collection of residential and small business trash. Our current trash day is Wednesday. Dumpster pick up day is Friday.

Spring Clean Up



The City holds Spring Clean Up once per year for residents to dispose of bulky waste items, such as

tree limbs, old furniture, etc at no charge. They will also take car and pick-up truck tires at $3.00 per

tire. The city is not able to take motor oil or hazardous materials during this event. Clean up location site is addressed 2110 W. Hwy 29.


If needed volunteers can help with picking up bulk items, if you are unable to haul them to the city sewer plant please contact City Hall for details.


No sign up is required to dump. Please bring your most recent water bill showing you pay fees for garbage disposal. Residential and Commercial customers with cans only my dump.



County Hazardous Waste Collection



This event is held in Burnet at the Rodeo Grounds once a year, the City of Bertram participates in sponsoring this program.


Citizens in the County and City of Bertram residents can take hazardous waste to properly be disposed of. Some of the items they will take is paint, tires, batteries, old TV's and computers.



Landfill Information



Burnet County does not have a county-owned landfill or dump facility, however there is a BFI transfer station located at 2411 FM 963. Please call their office at (512) 756-6318 for their hours of operation or other information. Cash/checks only, $32.00 per cubic yard.

Hours 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.


Hill Country Recycle - 2000 2nd St. Marble Falls, Tx (830) 693-3667 Hours of operation are

Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Hill Country Recycle will accept paper, cardboard and plastic. Please be sure you are recycling plastic labeled #1 and #2 only. They cannot accept glass products.
